Nursery Profile Risley Day Nursery was established in 2002 when the owner, following the birth of her first child, needed childcare and couldn’t find a suitable environment that satisfied both her high expectations as a parent and also her child’s needs. Consequently, the owner established a nursery where each child is treated as a unique person with their own individual qualities and needs and where the nursery’s primary focus is to provide a home from home environment. Our nursery provides the perfect home from home environment for your child to develop socially, emotionally and academically in the company of their peers, adopting a family approach to childcare where every member staff knows all the children within the nursery. Confidence builds as the children play, share, experiment and explore together in stimulating secure and friendly surroundings. We care for children from the age of thee months to five years. Our over three’s enjoy an interesting pro-active play based curriculum in our pre-school.
Our day care provides quality care in attractive, comfortable surroundings with delicious food and 100% support for parents. Our qualified, committed staff are there for you from 7.45am until 6.00pm fifty-one weeks of the year only closing for one week between Christmas and New Year. The children enjoy: breakfast, mid-morning and afternoon refreshments consisting of cereals, milk, juice, biscuits and fruit. 2 course lunches, which our chef prepares freshly on a daily basis, which include fresh vegetables and seasonal fruit. Afternoon teas consist of sandwiches with various fillings, soups, savouries and fresh fruit. Ofsted InspectionIn December
2006 Ofsted inspected the nursery on two aspects; the care standards and also
our pre-school education. We are very pleased to have been inspected as
'good' for both the care standards and pre-school education.
